The plan
Traveling light — saddle bags only, no luggage drop. Straight through to Nida, then back north to the hotel.
Saturday — south to the smoked fish
~80 km ride310 km via A1, ~3 h 20 min driving. Two 20-minute coffee stops — Elektrėnai area and around Kaunas / Kryžkalnis.
Senoji perkėla, Danės g. 1 — the pedestrian & cyclist ferry. Paid parking lots within a few hundred metres. Unload bikes, clip on the saddle bags.
Five minutes across the lagoon. Ticket covers the return trip too.
~50 km on the paved spit cycle path (EuroVelo 10), passing Juodkrantė, Pervalka and Preila. Relaxed pace with photo stops lands you in Nida around 13:45.
Tik pas Joną (Naglių g. 6) — the smoked-fish institution; fish soup and smoked bream are the moves. Malkinė next door for wood-fired pizza. Energy left? Parnidis Dune is 20 minutes away.
~30 km back north. Arrive around 18:00.
Ievos kalno g. 22, Juodkrantė · +370 630 11911. Evening: Hill of Witches sculpture trail is a 10-minute walk; the lagoon promenade earns its sunset reputation.
Sunday — north, swim, home
~20 km ride~19 km. Optional detour: Smiltynė beach is ~1 km from the ferry — the "wash before the car" swim stop if you need it.
Return leg of Saturday's ticket.
Kavinė Klaipėdos Senamiestis (Kepėjų g. 13) for Lithuanian classics, or Gaisrinė on the Danė riverfront. Both a 5-minute ride from the ferry.
~3.5 h plus one coffee stop. Back in Baronai around 17:30.
